Here at Sunshine Paws, your beloved pets are in the safest hands possible. We love all animals and whilst they are in our care, we treat them as our own. We are a member of NarpsUK, we are fully insured, DBS checked and certified in pet first aid. We also know how much we all worry about our animals when we cannot be with them, so we can send you a message/ email with regular updates so you can keep connected.

Dog Walking
Sunshine Paws can deliver a tailor-made dog walking service to meet your pet's exercise needs. To ensure that your dog is relaxed and enjoys their walk, we will complete a complimentary induction, so we know their preferences and types of places they like to walk.
Individual Dog Walking
We offer dog walks around your local area and parks. We tailor our dog walks, around the needs of your dog and the pace/ duration of walk required.
Dog Expedition
This is for the livelier dogs, whose exercise/ socialisation needs are not met by an hour's walk! Dog expeditions are three hours long and provide your dog with the opportunity to explore further within their local area, smelling, discovering and playing along the way.
If you would like your dog to run free the following is required:-
- Proof of up-to-date vaccinations
- Micro-chipped or identity tags on the collar
- Basic obedience
- Have an excellent recall
- Must not suffer from aggression towards other dogs or people
- Be spayed or neutered
All of our dog walks are designed to keep your dog fit, healthy and stimulated. Throughout all of our dog walks, we provide complimentary poo bags, offer healthy treats (subject to your agreement), fresh water and close supervision at all times. Although muddy paws are encouraged along the way, we will wipe dogs' paws clean before they arrive back home.
Dog Visits/ Sitting
For those dogs who do not like to be alone, and for those young puppies who need numerous visits, we also offer daily dog visits to keep them comfortable in their own home. Our dog visits are as unique as the dog we are visiting, and we tailor each visit to meet their individual need; making sure that each furry friend is happy, safe and entertained.
Cat Visits
At Sunshine Paws, we understand that each cat has a strong personality/ knows what they want, and we strive to ensure that our visits are as unique as the cat we are visiting. This may be providing clean water, fresh food, cleaning litter trays and playtime for indoor kitties to ensure there is access to fresh water and food for those more independent outdoor kitties. A purr-fect alternative to a cattery. We understand that you may need cat visits whilst you are on holiday and we are happy to take in your post, water your flowers, and take your bins out so both your kitty and home are looked after.
Small Animal Visits
Here at Sunshine Paws, we recognise that pets come in all shapes and sizes and that our small animal friend's need daily attention and care too. We can provide small animal visits; ensuring your pet has access to fresh water/ food with bedding refreshed/ changed as required. If appropriate, we can handle your pet and offer them some playtime with lots of fuss and company. As with our cat visits, we are happy to take in your post, water your flowers, and take your bins out so both your pet and home are looked after.
